What Is ChargeWest TM?
ChargeWestTM is a collection of Intermountain West states which are committed to improving electric corridors across the western United States; building infrastructure on rural gateway communities, state and national parks, monuments, recreation areas, and scenic by-ways. The states involved are Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming.
OUR MISSION: The entire Intermountain West Region will benefit from the ChargeWest project, which aims to support consumer education, stakeholder engagement, and rural infrastructure development of electric vehicle charging from the expansion of alternative fuel corridors.

What We Do
Education & Outreach
Utilize Alternative Fuel Data Center (AFDC) EV Tools to enable applications and encourage consumer awareness around EV adoption, expansion, and conversion.
Stakeholder Engagement
Remove barriers investment to enable private & public station development.

Develop EV infrastructure planning and solutions to nominate and complete state and regional alternative fuel corridors.

Our involvement with the ChargeWest™ serves as part of our effort to reduce GHG and build cohesive alternative fuel corridors in the intermountain west. Working as partners within the group we sharing projects ideas, and funding opportunities and best practice lessons along the way.

New Mexico
Developing corridors along state and federal highways in rural New Mexico; assisting with the branding effort associated with EV corridors throughout the state; promoting education related to EVs and EV charging infrastructure through webinars and stakeholder meetings (funding, access, etc.); working to convert state fleets; obtaining stakeholder feedback on EV issues in the state; working on policies that encourage further EV adoption including utility EV transportation plan and the NM Clean Fuel Standard; identifying EV capacity within rural New Mexico.

Utah
The Utah Clean Cities Coalition exists to support organizations and fleets in their effort to contribute to clean air by reducing vehicle emissions. UCC helps organizations and fleets with notifications and access to program grants, strategic planning tools, even and campaign partnerships, school curriculum materials and incentives.
