This module focuses on using dispatch information and the first ten minutes of an incident to build a shared operating picture. Responders learn to identify the vehicle or battery involved, recognize warning signs such as vapor, hissing, popping, unusual odors, heat, or battery damage, and begin the Emergency Response Guide (ERG) process before committing to tactics.
